Four markets. One consistent signal layer.

We now normalize recent municipal licence signals across four major Canadian cities. Each market passed the source gate for provenance, recency, geography, business identity, and actionable address.

Current and future issue dates

100 records per city were selected for the validation pack. A source signal is not treated as a confirmed future opening until a current operating-status review is complete.

The record is the signal. The review makes it useful.

A municipal record can establish where a business is, what it does, and when its latest licence activity occurred. It cannot, by itself, prove the doors are still closed. We keep source validation and opening confirmation as separate gates.

Timed for the vendor-selection window.

We prioritize opportunities roughly 3–9 months ahead when an opening date is supported. When it is not, the fit-out stage and fresh evidence show whether the buying window is open.

Examples are from public Vancouver sources and were manually reviewed on July 28, 2026. The free sample remains Vancouver-based while the other markets complete opening-status review. Timing can change.

Less searching. Fewer dead ends. Better-timed calls.

01

We screen the firehose

Permits, licences, opening announcements, hiring signals, and operator updates are ranked into plausible opportunities.

02

We kill false positives

A human status check removes businesses that are already open, stale, duplicated, or too uncertain for a rep’s time.

03

We make the lead usable

Every delivered opportunity includes evidence, opening stage, timing, a public contact route, and a reason to reach out now.

Your reps do not need more data. They need a reason to call.

Get to new venues while payments, telecom, insurance, signage, staffing, equipment, and launch partners are still being chosen. Designed first for POS and payment providers, now with a consistent source layer across four Canadian markets.

Transparent by design.

Why not pull the City data ourselves?

You can. The hard part is separating a real, upcoming buyer from renewals, duplicates, stale pending records, and venues that quietly opened months ago. We sell that judgment and saved time.

Which markets do you cover?

Vancouver is the current reviewed sample market. Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto now have validated official-source pipelines and will enter customer delivery after each market clears the separate opening-status review.

How early are the opportunities?

The priority band is roughly 3–9 months before opening when a date is supported. Fit-out stage and recent public evidence guide timing when an operator has not announced a date.

Is NewVenueIntel an established company?

Not yet. This is an independent pre-launch project validating demand. Formal business details will be published before paid subscriptions are accepted.

What happens to my email?

It is used only to contact you about the sample and private beta. You can opt out or request deletion by replying to any message. Read the privacy notice.

Does a new licence mean a business is not open yet?

No. It is a useful signal, not proof. Every customer-facing lead needs a separate current-status check so recently opened, already-operating, or stale records do not reach a rep.

Judge the leads, not the pitch.
